Hello friends,

We come to you today with hearts that are happy, if maybe a little heavy. Our dear pal and rock-steady drummer, Sam Rockwell, will be playing his last show with Jones Street Station this Saturday at the Mercury Lounge at 8:30pm. Samo's heading to the University of Vermont in the Fall to pursue a degree in environmental law - a brilliant career choice for someone with his strength, steady mind, big heart, and sweating prowess.

While we'll miss him greatly, Danny, Jon, JB, and Walt will be moving ahead with (what we think!) is our best album to date, a revised lineup, and the same passion and joy for bringing you the best music we all know how to make. Jones Street Station is only just getting started... (We've got a November residency on the books at the wonderful new Rockwood Second Stage, but more on that real soon.)

Since so many of you have been integral in helping our band become what it is, we hope you'll be able to come out this Saturday to help us celebrate Sam and to wish him well on his trip out of this city of tall buildings.
