Usually, I do these posts in chronological order, but I have to talk about the milkshakes at
101 Cafe first... There, I had two of the most interesting and delicious milkshakes I've ever had - their "Black Eye" (a black & white milkshake with a shot of espresso and ground coffee beans) and the "Nut N' Honey" (vanilla ice cream with peanut butter and honey) - the only photo I have doesn't do them justice but you have to trust me, as someone who can't turn down a good milkshake, these were thick, rich, flavorful, and absolutely decadent - thanks to our good buddy Nick D for turning us on this spot!

I've sampled many of LA's culinary delights, but for years, my buddy Justin has been telling me to get a
Tommyburger... So after a night out in LA, I did just that... The thing to get is the mammoth double chili cheeseburger - wow - this had to be one of the most dense burgers I've ever had but late at night it hit the spot - thanks Justin!

After an awesome show at the El Ray, JB and I with with some friends to
Swingers for some vegan shakes and eats (for them) and a good old fashioned black & white milkshake (also awesome!)

And a plate chock full o' chilaquiles:

Next time, I'll report on LA's other culinary delights but late night and early morning was all we had time for this trip.
